To make this sale a
success, we depend on
volunteers. You DO NOT have
to be a consignor to work the Pigtails and Cowlicks sale. Our sale runs
completely on volunteers. We need your help to set-up, staff and run the
event.
We’re not crazy –
we realize that your time to volunteer is precious, so we have sweet rewards
for you! Here they are:
1 three-hour
shift – shop 4:00 during Volunteer Presale (1½ hour before consignors!)
2 three-hour
shifts – shop at 3:00 during Super Volunteer Presale
3 three-hour
shifts – shop at 3:00 during Super Volunteer Presale AND earn extra 5%
consignor earnings
What kind of jobs are there at Pigtails and Cowlicks?
We need volunteers to help us advertise, set up racks/shelving, check-in
items, work on the floor during the sale, handle payments, check out
customers, monitor entrance/exits, and other key responsibilities.
Click on the "view work shifts" button - there are many different jobs for
many different talents. You do NOT have to be a consignor to take advantage
of the volunteer and early shopping privileges!!!
We ask that if you have children, please leave them in the care of
someone else during your work shift. Our volunteer jobs will require
your focused attention. Perhaps you can trade childcare with a friend,
so you can both work and both earn the
Volunteer Presale Pass! If those
arrangements are not possible for you, one of the volunteer shifts can be
done
with your kids - hanging flyers!
If you would like to earn a
Volunteer Presale Pass,
choose any shift. Sign up early so you get the
shift you want. Shifts will be assigned first come, first served. Certain
shifts will fill up quickly! E-mail us at

If you trade for volunteer credit or preview shopping passes, we are
counting on you to follow through.
In the event you do not fulfill
your pledged obligation, or find a comparable replacement, you will not be
allowed to participate as a volunteer again or participate in any future
preview sale. Please understand that these guidelines have
been put into place to maintain a high quality sale.
