CLOTHING MANAGER

It takes strong leadership, a sharp eye, and a calm presence to keep our clothing and shoe areas running smoothly. This role is a key part of our Management Team and plays a huge role in creating the organized, positive experience our consignors and shoppers love.

The Big Picture

  • Hourly, paid position

  • Approximately 30-40 hours during each sale week in Evansville and Owensboro (that is 4 weeks per year).

  • Fast-paced, high-energy role during our busiest (and most exciting!) weeks

 

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee clothing intake and overall organization

  • Train and direct Team Members working in clothing areas

  • Ensure quality control standards are met (stains, sizes, brands, tagging accuracy)

  • Merchandise clothing racks by size, season, and shopping flow

  • Assist consignors during drop-off and as items are placed on the sales floor

  • Problem-solve in real time when things get busy (overflow, tight timelines, organized chaos 😅)

 

Leadership & Decision-Making

  • Make judgment calls on what is and is not accepted according to sale guidelines

  • Confidently direct both Team Members and Consignors with clarity and kindness

  • Serve as a point person in clothing areas

 

Experience & Skills

  • Previous experience as a Pigtails & Cowlicks Team Member and Consignor

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills

  • Solid fashion and brand knowledge

  • Able to lift up to 30 pounds

  • A true team player who leads by example
